From the Barn to the Bot: My Journey into AI
My journey into automation didn’t start in an office; it started in the fields. As a lifelong dairy farmer, I learned early on that precision and efficiency aren't just goals—they are requirements for survival.
Long before "AI" became a buzzword, I was leveraging high-tech automation to help run the farm. From GPS-guided field equipment to automated ID systems in the milking parlor and behavioral tracking sensors on the herd, I’ve seen firsthand how technology can take a complex, 24/7 labor-intensive business and make it run like a well-oiled machine.
Now that I’ve retired from the farm, I’ve traded the tractor for the laptop, but my mission remains the same: helping businesses work smarter, not harder. I’ve dedicated this next chapter of my life to building AI automation systems specifically for local small to medium-sized businesses—the backbone of our community. I spend my days interviewing owners in the home services, veterinary, and restaurant and other industries to deeply understand the friction points that keep them from growing.
